Just bought from another forum member a Jellyhead for my back up 835.  Heard great things about them and interested in what it will do.  Anyone have any load suggestions from the hevi-shot line?  I shoot Mag Blends in my other 835 and will surely try them.  Thanks!

I've got one I would have sent you. My really like the Hevi 2.25 6's, but my IC beat it out with a little more consistancy. It seems like the JH might not get the best numbers, but they are never far behind. It is a solid choke. The IC was close to twice the price, but no way near twice the performance. It ought to eat up your mag blends.

If the weather holds up though the weekend I plan on shooting the turkey guns. I throw a few straight 7's thru it and let you know. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thanks man.  Wish I had know you had one cause I would have bought it for you for sure.  Thanks for the info.  Since it is a little more open I may try 3.5 mag blends in it.

Am thankful for any information.  I am going to keep the star dot in my main gun but thought the JH would be an economical back up.  Have you shot the Star Dot yet?

I'm embrassed to say no, but it's the truth. Plan on it this weekend. Ive got a bunch of 7's and 10 or so mag blends to try. And need to shoot my 20 gauge. I would have given u the jelly head as a thanks for finding the stardot for me.  Im not going to use it unless I try and shoot 5's out of it. I don't plan on that. Ill bet the jellyhead with the mag blend are within 5 to 10 pellets of the stardot. It would give me of about 160 on the low end to 210 on the high end with 2.25 6's the average was in the low 170's. My IC is consistance over 200 with the same load. The worst it shot (if memory serves) was in the low 180's the best was 229.  I recall a bunch of shots over 220. The IC has whacked them from a good ways out. Can't wait to try the stardot. It should be close to 300 with the 7's. The IC didn't really like the 7's. I only shot them thru it once, and can't remember the count, but I do remember I wasn't that impressed.

I was told that 3" 2oz. Hevi 6s gave great results with the JH.  Going to try them and the Mag Blends soon.

I ran the HS 3.5" 7's thru mine and it put up good numbers.  6's weren't bad either
