I think she will be pleased. The M500 Mossy is a copy of the old M31 Remington which was legendary for its ball-bearing smooth cycling. The M31 was based on the old John Moses Browning designed Remington M17 which had bottom ejection. The Ithaca M37 and Browning BPS also copied the M17 but retained the bottom ejection. All the above are fine guns. The Mossy has a lot of American shotgun history behind it.
