LUKE 2:14......" GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE, AND GOODWILL TOWARD MEN."
FAITH......PEACE.....HOPE AND JOY......During this season let us remember the things that are the most important. Christmas gives us all an opportunity to renew our faith in His many good graces and to acknowledge the many blessings we enjoy. If God has blessed you with family, be thankful. If you have living parents, siblings, children and grand children, let them know how special they are to you. Not to overlook the friends and neighbors or your church family, offer them all a greeting backed with Christian Love. Hugs and kisses cost you nothing more then a little effort and time!!! Beat that Walmart!!! Make certain that you make the best of the time you have together, now, as you never have tomorrow guaranteed. Give the gift of love this season, share your feelings with those you love. Fill your home with His light and love this Christmas season and may the Spirit of Christ burn brightly in your heart for a long, long time to come, remember, God's first gift to us was "family"........ starting in the Garden of Eden and His most precious gift of all to all.....His eternal gift of love and His Son Jesus.
Peace is a gift given at a great cost, for me, I am reminded of the peace I enjoy due to the corageous men and women who have taken a stand to protectthis grand Ol Nation, those in the armed services who have fought and died, so that I could sit here in the this recliner and type this devotional without fear. I also wants us, as we count our blessings, give thanks for these wonderful folks. While they are now heading home, many have spent their Christmas providing PEACE and freedom, for those of us here. Be thankful for their sacrifice, the prayer of Peace on Earth, is the heart strength, and faith is the working effort we must offer, so that this Christams will be the best ever! HOPE, may this coming season deliver us HOPE for our country, economical disaster and spiritual warfare has affected many, but where Christ abides so abides His Hope....this Christmas offer someone the HOPE that they have been struggling to realize. As individuals we all can unite in prayer and make it work; treat one another with kindness, love and understanding. Let us all come together in prayer to spread the Joy of Hope and rejoice in the true Spirit of the season, working towards the Goodwill for all men.
so, I take this opportunity to thank all of you who have helped keep this candle buring through your work and devotionals, and to all those who have taken the time to read them. May we continue to burn bright the Christmas Spirit, all year long, and offer our gifts of FAITH, HOPE, PEACE AND JOY to all who are searching................Merry Christmas to you all and God's Mercies for the coming New Year, pappy
