Early winter idea!!!

I have never shot a fall bird but have had a tag in my pocket in case one walked by while bowhunting.  Well bowhunting is ending after this weekend.  So far I have shot 2 does and my wife a 5pt.  I plan on rifle hunting but after that I am done.  My plan is to get a fall tag and try my luck late season turkey hunting.  I plan on hunting picked corn fields and then ice fishing as much as I can this winter.
