Well I managed to get my fourth fall bird this morning...
Six or seven little poults will be without their mommy from now on...
My friend picked me up this morning at around 10:30 so I threw the hunting gear in the car...
Sure enough I saw a few birds out on a empty cut potatoe field so my friend told me to make it quick as he watched the turkey flop around way back from the road sitting in his car....
My cell phone went off and it was him saying "Mr.Nuggent you have done it again"
I said was that fast enough for ya..
It was easy to move on them as the rain had damped the ground and it wasnt noisy at all..
The 870 roared once again and it wasnt a short range shot this morning as Im guessing a solid 40 yards as I didnt want to move any closer and they looked like they were going to run for cover..
