close encounter with rattler

My brother in law and I where moving a few tree stands around for the archery season and we where walking by my watering hole when he jumped back about three feet and yelled snake.  I stopped and the rattler was heading my way.  I stepped to the side and the snake went by me at about three feet.  I about soiled myself so today I ordered a pair of snake boots.  It was about four feet long and thick.  Did get some good deer pics though after my heartrate and his returned to normal.  Scoot

the only good snake is a dead snake. at least their not mean like copperheads.

i know how you feel,had the same thing happen to me afew weeks ago except i about stepped on one.still makes the hair on the
back of my neck stand up.
