I know I sound like a broken record but look into the waldrop turkey chair ...

I whole heartedly agree.  I have the very first "turkey" seat he made.  It's by far the best seat I've ever used for hunting.  It's super light and extremely comfortable.  I would buy another tomorrow if something happens to this one.

How about a seat that weighs less than 1.5#
I have two of these in camo versions. Love them. I wouldn't drag around a metal frame chair if you gave me one.

I looks at the Waldron seat on line.  Looks like it's 3 feet long and folds flat so carries like a   big long pack.   Or so it looks on video.

I'm considering a new chair for next year.  My BOG chair broke twice this year.  Managed to "fix" it the first time but today's break I don't think I can fix.  Browning Strutter chairs have the highest number of positive reviews of any turkey chair on Amazon by far.  That's gotta mean something.
