Van Cise Box Appreciation

Thought I'd start another thread just to show some Van Cise appreciation...Matt really does a sweet job of tuning these handled boxes. I visit his website often just to listen to him run them, hear those boxes spit feathers.

Got this call a year ago and super pleased. I've heard more than a few to decide for myself his figured maple boxes are pure turkey. And this call, with the PH lid, just excels in every way. Who else appreciates his handled boxes?

I appreciate looking at them and listening to the soundfiles, like you mentioned. Haven't owned one yet. The figured granadillo lids on his site right now are something else.

Same.... oddly enough.  Just have not pulled the trigger on one yet.  But not because the man can't build or tune a call.   His boxes are some of the best I've heard !!!
