Me and a buddy were in Idaho several years back in a rental SUV. We parked at a public land gate and set out. He went one way and I went the other. About lunchtime, he text me and ask me if I had the car key. I text him back and said no, you put them on the ground on the inside of the drivers side rear wheel, just like we always do. He said, they ain't there. So I start back to the car and about 15 minutes later he text me that he found them. The neighbors saw him crawling under and around the car and walked over. Turns out, their dog had got the keys and dropped them on their porch. They walked up and asked, you looking for these??? Probably the strangest thing that has ever happened to us while travel hunting.
