I use a combo of Sitka/Kuiu/FL for most of my hunting... but if I was only using it for turkey I would not have bought it. I don't think the price is justified for turkey season, it is usually milder weather and not necessary.
I get a lot more mileage out of it for western hunts where you're hiking long miles and not changing clothes for a week straight, or whitetail hunts in extreme cold. Merino is amazing for odor control and the tech fabrics generally perform better while being lighter, more breathable, and staying drier than cheaper fleece or cotton.
That said, turkey hunting is pretty easy clothing-wise and doesn't really require much fanciness. If I was regularly camping multiple days out west for Merriam's in mountainous areas still holding snow during the spring gobbler season, I would consider it. Or, if you hunt multiple seasons for other species, it's worth it. But generally it's pretty easy to find less expensive stuff that will keep you comfortable for turkey.
