Interesting study, looking forward to the TSS version.  Really surprised he didn't choose to shoot a turkey choke!

The test was made in 1988-1989 fixed full chokes were common use back then. Also there was not a lot of choices in the removable choke market as today.

It read like an old test but was confusing when he mentioned TSS.

I think I started turkey hunting in 1990?  Were definitely choke available but far less, think Hastings was my first?

Very interesting.  Those fixed full 1100s shoot quite well (685) was typical. 

Another thing that Lubaloy shot he used was actual plating. The so called copper plating on shot now is just a wash, does nothing  for patterns or penetration.
