Thinking of making a quick trip up to southern Indiana to hunt some public land. May 6th to the 10th. I've never hunted Indiana and I'm usually home from my out of state trips by this time of the year. Would the last week of Indiana season be a bust or is the population down like in most areas? Feel free to pm as I'm not asking any specific spots by any means. Thanks

Were extremely greened up by now - way ahead of schedule. Also the temps have been stupid high and you'll be there after a bunch of birds have been shot out. The national forest is tough hunting as is but this years been extra rough for me. I haven't been able to find birds on the roost to save my life... and I'm talking in places I've historically found them. I don't say this to pain a bleak picture but just being honest to help set expectations.
