It's Getting Close!

The time is about here. The weather has been nice for a few days here and I saw 3 gobblers strutting their stuff this morning on the way to work. Get ready boys because it won't be long!

I second that....got called into work yesterday and I took the long way in...saw 7 different groups of birds with about 15-20 per group...feeding in the corn fields on my turkey haunts...couple were puffed up and giving a show...man I can't wait for April!!  Bring it on!!

Saw a few toms and some jakes this afternoon about a hundred yards out my back door. No strutting just hanging out.

Saw 5 strutter's with around 10 hens this morning about 0930.  About run off in a ditch looking at them.  That would have been hard to explain to the arresting officer.  "I swear there were 5 strutter's out there,  no I haven't had anything to drink"
