This is my 20th year of doing one of the WI Learn to Hunt Turkey Programs, this year with the
Bluff Country Long Spurs - National Wild Turkey Federation who hosted the program, and I was able to take a lady from work out, she spent some time learning to shoot, went and did a little "scouting" with me, spent a day in class on Saturday, and the hunt today.
Some wind, some rain, and little chill in the air, but she made it all come together, even with a couple of gun malfunctions "3rd Times a Charm".
Her first ever hunt! Congrats Julie!
Also, a big shout out to all the Mentors, Hunters, Landowners and the Learn to Hunt Program Volunteers running the program.
