I've got two 12 gauges. Want to turn one into a turkey gun by having RSA thread the barrel for choke system. I have a smooth slug barrel for each. Each has rifle sights.
Remington is chambered for 2 3/4", currently has synthetic pistol grips and barrel is 22".
Winchester is chambered for 3", original wood stock and barrel is 24".
I'm leaning towards the Remington. I have the original wood for it, so I won't feel that bad about modifying the furniture. Plan is to start hand loading TSS, so I don't feel a 3" shell is needed. Anyone see a reason to not go this route? Only other difference other than chambering is semi vs pump action.
