I wear them religiously but have never had a bite. To my knowledge, I have never even come close. Snake boots give me that piece of mind that I don't have to watch every step. I have worn Rocky and currently have Lacrosse in both lace up and rubber. I like both but cannot speak to the actual snake proof aspect.
