I will always carry either a wingbone/trumpet, one pot call and a diaphragm or two. At times, I will add in a scratcher or a box call into the mix.
"I said to the Lord, "You are my Master! Everything good thing I have comes from You." (Psalm 16:2)

I always carry 1 glass or crystal pot, 1 slate pot, 3 strikers, a box call of some sort, a few diaphragms, a hooter, and a crow call

Gooserbat

One pot, a scratch box (maybe), assortment of mouth calls and a wingbone/cane yelper/trumpet.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

The core calls are a wingbone/cane yelper/trumpet, a longbox or mini-boat, and a Gooserbat mouthcall.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot
