These are examples of the decision making involved in all of these processes (shoot/don't shoot). if you come into my house, you're getting lit up, but im not going to continue shooting into a motionless body. scum or no scum, that ain't right.i wouldn't say the life sentence is either, but he definitely deserves a serious sentence, imho.military, law enforcement and citizens are given the right to carry a gun and use it in defense of ourselves. we are NOT absolved of acting responsibly when choosing to employ deadly force.
