Be careful on EBay, watch shipping cost

He reached a limit of sales on eBay in a given time and it stopped the other ones. That's why the other ones came down, probably not helping the matter is people reporting to ebay about the calls being fake.

No sweat Tom, always good to bring up something that looks fishy. Fact is in this case every single call was legit, and a lot of the sales did go through. Thousands of dollars worth. My only guess is the seller wanted to sell them without anyone knowing where they came from, which brought about more questions of course. As far as the authenticity of the calls, they were the real deal including the Cost box, which is why it went north of $2K.

I got one call pulled that was listed wrong. I would call that not legit.

It's great to see that in the end these listings were intended to be legit. The only reason for this thread was to alert members that bid on these that discrepancies were evident in the listings that did raise Red Flags. Shipping costs varying from $98.00 to $77.00, to $10.00 for trumpets, zero seller reviews joining EBay in Feb 2024, and other discrepancies in descriptions etc. definitely led to significant concerns with many members on this forum and EBay members alike. No harm, no foul. I wish the seller future success in their sales.

Got an email from them over the weekend, been there 25 years.  "....you've been an essential part of our community since you joined on 02-25-1999. What a great reason to celebrate! eBay simply would not be the same without you." Makes me feel old.
