Sweet Music/ New Locator Calls

 Duck hunting this morning, hit the wood duck call and , " GOBBLE" ? they gobbled for a while. They even hobbled on the ground. It was awesome. First time I ever heard them gobble that much in the fall. Z

It is music to the ears. We had one last year across the creek while duck hunting that would do the same on cold mornings. I swore it was every time his berries hit that cold limb he was sitting on that made him gobble.

Hunted sw Nebraska one year late season for geese with some guys. The "merriams" were gobbling there brains out.

I may use a wood duck squealer or a goose call. These birds either love or hate them. Still gobbling to them, lol. Z

Listened to two gobblers fight for thirty minutes while on a deer stand last week.

The first year I Fall hunted them I heard more gobbles than I had heard the previous Spring. That was quite the surprise.

A couple of days ago while sitting in a treestand, I had several birds gobbling on the roost about 75yds away. About 75yd on the other side of me were a bunch of hens talking away. I ended having 14 hens, 3 Jakes and 2 Longbeards standing in front of me at 25yds.
