My Browning Gold 3.5" 12 gauge had zero problems in 10 years. I have found Browning mechanical service to be A+++. Their wood/stock work is however, extremely slow. The quality was there, but the time frame was unacceptable. If there is a defect, it should be addressed immediately. No more wood from Browning for me. Z

Has any one here tried enduring the sticky phase for awhile? Id swear mine used to be way stickier than it is now (not even that bad now), but wondering if anybody else experienced the same?

Mine got real sticky. I talked to Browning, he told me it would become a gooey mess for sure. Sent it to them, they told me 4-5 weeks, they have my stocks in stock. Will see......

My Browning is on its way. They said the original camo is no longer an option so it will be a fully refinished gun. Guess we will see.

The reason i ask if anybody has 'endured' the sticky phase, is because im pretty sure mine isnt as sticky as it once was... Its a 15 year old gun, hardly sticky at all. And i refuse to get mine refinished if they cant replace the pattern its in. Mine is in break up infinity, and holds sentimental value as my first shotgun as a 13 year old.

Mine started out slow, then this year it became stickier. The Browning gunsmith told me it will definitely get worse, real bad. So I decided since they have my camo stocks available, I would send the gun back. He said 4-5 weeks on the simple stock replacement.....my camo pattern is Real Tree Max 5.
