I shot 3 chokes and apex LT20 #9 in a 1187 20ga 21"
40yds and 20yds
IC .555
Carlson .568
Rhino .575

Setting up the gun for my son. I don't think there is a happy middle pattern for a close shot not being to tight that he misses or a long shot that is dense enough.

I ended up setting on a rem super full .572 and apex gt-20 in my 870 with 21" barrel

I would love to post pics but.....it's not working for me

IC .555 and Carlson. 568 both did 270, the rhino did 183 at 40yds in 12" circle cause that's the way the quaker boy target is.

All 20yd patterns were softball size
