North GA birds

I am a SC guy but live on GA line. Been fighting GA birds all year in the southern part. I frequent both sides.

I will be in North Ga this weekend and plan to slip over to North GA public on saturday morning for a season finale hunt. Any one from the area that can speak on the situation of the birds currently? In south Ga they really seem done for the year. Either no gobbling or wont work at all at this point.

Any info is appreciated going in blind with no mountain bird experience.

That may be the south ga issue as well. Luck doesnt typically run in my favor but we shall see.
