My son in law loves to film his hunting experiences. I am thinking of getting him a gun mounted camera for recording his shots.   Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.  I actually decided to get a GoPro 10. He loves filming his hunting and fishing adventures.

If he's a wingshooter, you should look at a Shotkam. It can be aligned with your point of aim and the video will have a red dot for an aiming reference point. When you watch the video, the red dot will show him where his hold/lead was on the bird at the time of shot. Could make him a better shooter and it's nice to show someone who is new to wingshooting the different leads for different situations.

Thanks.  I was trying to figure out what would be best for his type of hunting. He doesn't do any real wingshooting. He's mostly a deer and turkey hunter and fisherman. Thanks for the suggestion however.

My Shotcam is perfect for both gun and bow. I'd buy it again in a second.
