On my way home tonight, tight 2 lane rd, 40mph speed limit, everyone does 50. Opposite lane see black object fly up behind a car, its a poult then Hen jumps out of woods wings out trying to protect her baby, I blocked traffic in their lane with truck and went to see how bad poult was, she just laid there, Hen ran back into woods calling, I picked up poult and carried into woods, think there was a least 3 maybe 4 other poults. Laid poult down , never moved, I quickly moved truck and came back to check on poult, eyes were closed but she was sitting upright, I talked to her and she stood and made a few steps towards me, saw left wing hanging, seamed it was able to pull wing up but could not keep up. Thought about bringing home, but after a few more minutes it was able to walk off, hope it makes it, has a fighting chance, wouldve been road squished, Hen should know better to mess with that road at that time of day.
