So, like some of you I have been hunting a light weight warm weather rig to carry my junk in. Still having stuck in my head that I need this and that, when in reality I don't need as much as I think.

I do require a pot and some mouth calls, water and snacks. I really like having my binos along for the walk as well. TP, and a sling to pack a turkey are also in the rig.

Keeping my needs in mind when I received my initial order I thought I didn't have enough room and placed another order for a water bladder and pack. The pack is small. Overall weight is 4.4#'s, much lighter than the Alps 3 Elite I typically use.

In hindsight, a smaller pair of binos would be a benefit. Doing that would allow going back to the chest rig only and cutting a # and a half.

Don't really remember what kind of money I got in this but it's 3-4 bills I think. I bought the Denali Bino pack, two range finder pockets, two extensions for the harness, a rain fly for the Bino pack the order the back pack and water bladder a week later. Well made, no issue with season number 1 but did only use it about 6 times. Alaskan Guide Creations is the manufacturer.

I did notice two things. When walking it's hard for me to see my feet, Bino rig blocks view right at your feet. When setting up the Bino rig is in my way, but if you unclip the harness on your gun side it will shift to non gun side and be out of the way.

It is a lot lighter and cooler to pack than the Alps 3 I have used for the last 3-4 years.

Pretty nifty! I need a good back rest and seat. Personally I have lightened up over the years. Last day here hovered around high eighties,a cooker. I was thinking light.

I'm using a Rick young bino harness. I like it pretty well. It's super minimalist.
