FYI on WTB Ads

Just giving a heads up that if you put up a WTB ad that someone may try undercutting you. I had a WTB ad up and had a reply about a PM. I responded wanting a picture and the return message was someone else contacted them to buy it and they were selling to them. Seems underhanded by both members but it is what it is and I am not hurting. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to make sure they know this kind of stuff is going on.

Should be a rule that if someone/member should have to post "I'll take it". That would keep everyone informed and on a even playing field.

How is me making the WTB ad not moving fast? Seemed to me since I made the ad and was contacted about the item I was looking for I should not have to worry about someone underhandedly trying to jump in line.

I really like the ones who respond that they have what you are looking for and are willing to sell/trade, then change their mind.

Don't know if it happens here but on certain forums if you post a WTB ad you'll get PMs stating a friend has what you're looking for and here's his email...scam central!
