North Mountain Gear Jacket Questions
April 17, 2022, 09:56:59 PM
Can anyone walk me through the differences in the NMG Guide Jacket and the pullover? I see lots of love for the pullover but don't see the regular guide jacket mentioned as much. I'm looking to upgrade my camo collection and am leaning towards NMG.

I have the pullover and really enjoy it. Biggest reason I chose it was because I have had issues with longer zippers on outerwear in the field and wanted to avoid the potential in the dark turkey woods. Never put my pullover on until I'm ready to sit down and avoid all the chances of snagging it up in the dark. Good luck with your choice but either one is just personal preference regarding this nice product.

I have a regular jacket in the generic camo and I really like it. If you're not hung up on a camo pattern and just want something that works I highly recommend it.
Nothing like seeing a kids eyes light up upon hearing that first gobble.

I have a NMG pullover in Greenleaf. I really like it and I like that it breaks up my figure. But, it doesn't provide any warmth so if your early season is cold make sure to throw on an extra layer or two.
If I could go back I'd get a pullover with a hood.
