what do you guys do to polish your calls up? do you hand rub them or use the polish on the lathe? I myself just dip a paper towel in some high glass poly and apply it on the lathe. what types of friction polish do you guys use?

I go with a BLO/spar/turp mix. I apply it with the lathe off, heat it up with the friction while the lathe runs at high speed, and then smooth it out with the lathe off. After 20 min or so I'll run a dry cloth over it to wipe off any puddles.
