Buckshot through Turkey Choke?

I have some hogs on 1 property .. wanted to carry a few #3 buckshot in case I run into them while turkey hunting (assuming everything is slow/quiet on the Turkey hunt)   Have you shot buckshot through an Xfull turkey choke?  I'm not talking 00 Buck... #3 buck.

Trying to take out some pestering geese once I put 3" 00 in and it expanded the choke and ruined the barrel/choke was no longer able to be removed. I do not advise it although I'm not sure what #3's would do

I'd try some #2 TSS to the head.

I have a similar problem at our lease in North Florida, I have killed 2 with turkey loads and a 12gauge with xx-full choke. One with a longbeard XR 3" #6 and one with the older Remington duplex 3" 4x6. Both of them under 20 yards, both of them headshots and both of them stone dead as any of the other truckloads that I've killed with rifles. I would not hesitate to shoot another one with a turkey load, pretty easy to get within 20yards of them on our property.

I can tell you from experience that #9 TSS will kill a hog graveyard dead inside 15 yards.  Rather than buckshot, which is illegal to carry in many states, I'd get my hands on some #2 or #4 TSS loads with a lighter payload but higher velocity (1300+ fps). They should be poison on hogs.

My wife dropped a 150 lb sow at almost 30 yards with a 20ga and hevi #5 a few years ago.  She wasn't expecting to  kill it instantly and said "good lord what did you put in this gun!".  Couple years later my daughter put about 5 rounds from my .40 into a huge boar before he went down.

Have shot #4 buck thru turkey chokes many of times in Florida at hogs.

3 in TSS loads will kill hogs at 30 yards. It's just a little expensive. As far as buckshot I wouldn't be scared to shoot it thru a turkey choke.
