I've had good luck with Big Game Management in Albany, Texas.  However,  I have no one else to reference from.  Nothing flashy about it.  He has a couple lil houses in that area with several ranches not one contiguous ranch.  I went out in 04, 05, 06 and a 22 youth only hunt a couple weeks back.   This year was by far the worst of the 4 years that I've been.   My son filled one of his two tags, hammered one long beard amd let several jakes walk.
I think this outfit is cheaper than most.  Not for certain on that tho.

Been waiting to see responses.
I'm a texas native, have killed alot of rios over the years. Can't justify the $1,250-$1,500 most places are charging these days for a weekend turkey hunt. My turkeys have come off my deer leases or my buddies deer leases.
Unless the money is irrelevant to you I would go to another state and hunt rios on public land. I've shot a few rios on public land over the years in Texas, but I can't recommend any of it to an out of stater. I only hunt it on very select days and its typically over run with hunters and birds are few and far between.

If you decide to come to Texas, most the ranches you find online will be a decent hunt. Next year should be a good year and I am seeing and hearing from other buddies around the state that there are alot of Jake's this spring.
