Anybody tried Incredible ? It is the best sweetcorn I have ever eaten. Like licking a bag of sugar. Planted it a couple years ago and then couldn't find the seed anywhere. Finally got some this year and planted 17 rows.

My dad grows a lot of sweet corn and has a line of folks waiting at the parking lot he sells from.  He has grown Incredible and its good, but we prefer Honey Select.  He still grows several varieties every year and always has a group of folks that swear by "Peaches and Cream".  You can't tell them any different, so he lets them believe that whatever bicolor corn he has is called Peaches and Cream.  Usually if he can get them to try Honey Select.......they want more.

We've grown "Peaches & Cream" for the last several years. It's really good when we can get it before the deer and 'coons get to it. They know when it's ripe and it's a race to see who can get to it first. Last year we were out of town the weekend it ripened and it was all gone by the time we got back.

We'll have to look for that "Honey Select".

Thanks,
Clark

I've been trying to get the garden in.  This will be the first one in a long time.  I planted 6 rows of sweet corn, and will do some more in a couple weeks to stagger the maturity.  Also got in a bunch of peppers and tomatoes.  Hopefully I can finish in the next couple days!

Best Sweet Corn I ever had was down in Le Sueur MN (Home of the Jolly Green Giant) while I was working down there.
One of the guys said lets have a corn feed after work, we went to the corn field and he had a 55 gal drum with a couple weed burners set up, we picked the corn and within 30 seconds the corn was in the water cooking, he had a 5 gallon drum, filled with melted butter and a couple salt shakers, we got the corn out of the water and ate to our hearts content.
From the field to the mouth in about 15 minutes just great.

We've been planting Peaches & Cream and Bodacious for a good many years now and love both. Peaches & Cream has a lot longer freezer life though.
Will have to try some Honey Select and Incredible next time as we  have all of our garden in.

We use Silver King or Queen, preferably King.
