Project for my single shot - thoughts?

Bought a single shot .410 to try this year and after plinking around with it I started to think about hunting stories of shooting doubles or needing a second shot. Here's the 3d-printed solution I came up with.

A little practice and the reload is actually pretty quick. Really happy with how it turned out, has the right amount of grip and super easy to take on/off - video link below. Appreciate any feedback!

Love to hunt the King of Spring!

That's a much better sized picture. Nice looking gun and the shell carrier looks well thought out too. :icon_thumright:

That is like the game saver or something like that in the 3 gun world that glues to the side of the receiver and holds one or two shells so if you run the gun dry at the end of a stage or miss you have a few extras to use the semi as a single shot which in the hunting world with a single is probably a really good idea and can be utilized

I like that! I'd like to have something similar for my 1885 high wall.

that's a great idea!

my nephews and i have used the stevens for the last two years. i put a stock sleeve on it and i lost like 2 shells this year as the neoprene loosened. not a small thing with ammo prices

i'm thinking of jerry rigging something like this with duct tape.  only stick it to the side of the gun when you sit down and take it off when traveling

Had some interest so I'm thinking I'll make some up to sell. Have some fine tuning to do, but thinking they'll be $12 tyd. I'll post an update once they're available.

Absolutely brilliant.
Now if I would just get that email from my local Farm n Barn store that the Henry 20 gauge is back in stock... And a buddy who likes to tinker has a 3D printer...
