This was an awesome morning, I love chasing birds in that type of terrain. https://youtu.be/8UcbFjbvNSg

Neat video.

One particular set of breaks I hunt in Wyoming, those Merriam's roost on a cliff that's 500-700 feet high.  They usually pitch back onto some big meadows.  If they pitched off the cliff the other way, they could glide into South Dakota.    ;D

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

I'm liking the content that you've been putting out Justin.
Enjoy the youth hunts and excellent self filming.
Keep ''em coming.
Best of luck this season.

I'd like to try out Montana one of these days. Those high cliffs and big meadows are beautiful

The pic doesn't do it justice.  We figured the far ridges (which aren't visible in the pic) are the Black Hills.........about 60 miles away.

Truly takes your breath away.

Great video, as always, Justin.  Your comments at the end of the video are right on target.  I have said the same on many hunts in the past.  It isn't about just killing a turkey.  It is everything that goes with it!  I have made this comment to a bunch of acquaintances that are hunters, but have never spring gobbler hunted and question why I am so "ate up" with it:  I just tell them,..."If you ever start spring gobbler hunting, not only will you understand, but you will be kicking yourself for all those years you have missed out on one of the most thrilling types of hunting you will ever do".

Looking forward to more!...

"gobblenut" I appreciate it man and I agree there's just something about spring turkey hunting, I dunno what you call it , a passion??? A disease,  If you will??? whatever it is, I'm glad I got it because I dunno what my life would be like without turkey hunting!!!
