So we are in WI 4th season and I took a lady out for a bow hunt, first morning at Turkey Camp and she puts the broadhead in the boiler maker at 8 yards! Then this morning I have another lady out looking for a bow bird, this tom would not leave the timber, I ditched everything but my CODY call and shotgun, made our way into the timber set next to a tree and her behind my right shoulder. Called him in after a short sequence and some light purrs, bird #1 is down, I go to stand up and bird #2 goes to beat on the down bird and I shoulder the 11-87 and get it on his neck and #2 hit the ground!! DOUBLE
Was a heck of a hunt, this was the first kill the lady ever seen and it was an awesome hunt!
