I am thinking of putting a scope on my gun for next season I noticed patterning my gun this year I was having trouble seeing the target. I have a vortex venom on it now. What scope would you suggest.

Nikon Monarch Turkey Plex, no longer made, but you can find them used. Leupold makes some great Shotgun scopes. Vari-X 2 1x4 power s a great option. eBay usually has some good ones, used, but some are like brand new. Unfortunately, the red dot craze has limited availability and manufacturing of a real good Turkey Scope. One more is the Weaver Kaspa. 1x4  turkey scope.  Comes in camo too. These are regularly on eBay....good luck....

I waited patiently and finally found a used Leupold VX I 1x4 Shotgun scope. Made in 2011 but looks new. I put it on my Benelli Nova 20 ga.  Keep an eye and ear out and be patient and I am sure you could find one too.

I have the Leupold Turkey Plex, great scope. Depending on who you talk to I often here this one or the Nikon mentioned above is the best, I have never seen the Nikon though so I can't comment to which is better. There are 2 versions of the Leupold Turkey Plex, I have the 33mm and understand there is a 20mm one as well. I thought there was a larger one but can't find it.

Try konus or edenburg low power scope. Both under 100 on amazon

Whatever one you choose, make sure it is rated for shotguns. We all know the modern turkey loads kick like a starving mule. They have to be built to take a pounding. Also important to use good quality heavy rings. Burris Tactical rings are super tough, they tighten on to rail using 3/8 hex nut...good luck in your search..

Nikon pro diamond... or the Simmons if you can find either one are good scopes.. the Nikon will cost you between 300 - 450 dollars....
