Petty straightforward. My my mother and father inherited 83 acres from my grandparents, and couldnt resist the allure of lumber prices, so they clear cut the property. It was great turkey habitat. I had a lease with a friend for a season, and the fella decided he didnt want to lease it any more. I guess all good things come to an end. I spent this year and last year hunting exclusively public land. Its made me a better hunter for sure. However, it is very difficult and time consuming. Working shift work and talks of youngins in the near future will probably limit the amount of time I will be able to get out and hunt like I would like. I miss having a place that is less pressured, and where I can invest some time and money into improving the habitat. I would also love to meet and grow relationships with other like minded individuals. I live and breathe wild turkey and waterfowl. Depending on what season it is, determines which one I enjoy more.
Im looking for a lease or club to join for the intention of hunting turkeys. I live in Berkeley county, but I regularly drive an hour to an hour and a half to hunt. I would like to hunt wood ducks and small game on the property as well, but if thats not doable, its not a deal breaker. If you are interested in me, send me a PM and we can talk to get to know each other a little better. Thanks for yalls time.
