I have a Remington 11-87 Special Purpose 12ga. matt black with dark hardwood stock & forend and a 21" smooth bore Rem-Choke barrel with rifle sights. It's in extra good condition. I am a die hard 870 guy so I have no use for it and no idea what it's actually worth. Can anyone on here give me an idea of a fair value?

since nobody has an idea of a value can anybody tell me if the 21" smooth bore RemChoke barrel with the factory rifle sights is the same barrel as the 21" vent rib RemChoke barrel with beads? I'm thinking they are just some got sights and some got a rib with beads but I'd like to know for sure.

Seems to be the same barrel. As for the value of your special purpose 1187, depending on condition, $700 to maybe $1000. If it was an old school Greenleaf, or bottomland, much more. Great gun to have......
