Best weeks to hunt in Nebraska

Have a chance to hunt near the Sand Hills in Nebraska. When would be the best couple weeks to be there.

I hunted the Sandhills region last year, mid May, and did well

I hunt south central Nebraska and southwest Nebraska the most, usually have the best luck the last week in April/first week in May. I was out this morning, a lot of gobbling the first hour and saw a Tom breeding a hen already. Seems they might be a little ahead this year.

By mid-May the grass, alfalfa, and winter wheat are all getting tall enough it can be harder spotting birds.
