Twisted Tendon Strained Muscle

Just asking for prayers, I bent over and picked up a empty trash bag and somehow ended up twisting a tendon and straining at least one muscle. That was a week ago and I am in just as much pain now as I was when I did it if not more pain. I am worried about this stopping turkey season on me because the paper work they sent me home with says it can take up to a year for this to heal up with pain lasting up to six months. I am already taking strong pain killers because of my last car accident and am taking strong muscle relaxers and more anti inflammatory meds on top of the ones I am already taking too and they really are not doing much for me. I am most upset that I can't take my dog out, she is trained to go on papers but she wants to go outside and I don't blame her.
