Whats the popularity in them?  Thanks

Turkeys seem to like the sound of them. I killed my first mature longbeard with one. To me they make a beautiful purr & the sweetest yelp. Just an old plastic pot with an aluminum back that's gets easily dented. They can be pricey because they can be difficult to come by. I sold one a couple years go in new condition for $55.00. I've seen some listed for over $100 but I would never pay that for one.

The Aluminum Thunderdome has a great sound. To me, it sounds the best....

This was one of my first production slate calls, i have one of the older ones without the turkey on the can and i have one with the turkey on the can.. Good call and good striker with them.

Those without the turkey are rare, I have never seen one. Keep hold of that one........be safe...

They do sound good.  I have every Thunder dome offered from the factory (slate, crystal and ceramic.) with one exception, I do not have the aluminum.
Deer see you and think you are a stump. The Old Gobbler sees a stump and thinks it is YOU!
