Those are some good'uns....of both species.  Do you actually keep and eat any of those fish?  Around here, because of the mercury levels, people are advised not to eat many fish,....and especially fish like those big catfish.  ...Supposedly dangerous levels of mercury in their flesh...

By golly I eat those Flatheads, them, Saugeye and Walleye are all that go in my freezer.......Yummy. As a matter of fact I'm hooking up the boat in a few minutes
and going after some Saugeye. grabbing isn't legal here, so we catch our Flatheads on trot lines and Poles

Yessir, I eat every fish I keep.  They did some mercury measuring years ago and at the levels we have, they just advised pregnant women to not eat fish multiple times a week.  Luckily I'm not pregnant.

Nice looking fish. I was supposed to go noodling the last time I was in OK but could not got because of shoulder issues, maybe in the Spring I will be able to when I am out there chasing turkey.
