Folks,  I am going to try and get back into making strikers again.  I do apologize for the delay but life, a new job, long hours and no shop got in the way.
Well, the China Virus and my age cost me my job and not too many companies want to hire a 62 year old electrical engineer.  Funny how that works.
I'll not be taking any new orders until my book is clear.  I have orders going back several years.  I'll be contacting you by PM and ask if you are still interested.  I'll completely understand if you aren't.  If you know that you were on my list, feel free to contact me if you still want some and if I find your name in the book, I'll take care of you.
Thanks
Steve

There are companies that want me just none close by.  I would have to move and they won't relocate someone my age.
My boss and manager still want me back.  Evidently HR and the front office don't.  Such is life.
I just need something to do during the China Virus lockdown and the ice and snow.  Turkey season will be here soon and maybe I can get some pictures of dead turkeys called in with some of my strikers.

Sucks to hear that Steve. I truly hope things open back up for you. On the bright side you should have plenty of hunting time.

My former, former boss is wanting me to work some part time.  He's also my hunting buddy.
I'm not looking for full time work just yet.  There is nothing around here except where I used to work.  They won't take me back.   :TooFunny:  My boss then, and manager both want me back.  HR and front office think I'm too old from what I've been told.  Oh well.
I'm not in a "retirement location"  If this stupid China Virus lets up this summer, I'll look to relocate myself and then look for something.  I'm not ready for a rocking chair but am also not in a hurry.

In the mean time, I'm gonna make some strikers and plan on hunting a bunch this spring.

Good to hear you are back in the shop! Those strikers of yours were very helpful in the demise of a few turkeys in my hunt area.  Hope you get lined out on the work thing. One thing about making strikers, it might be difficult to fire yourself no matter HOW OLD YOU GET!  Just saying ......
