Have any of y'all been out hunting in the last week? I am headed up around Harrison on Friday, and was wondering how the birds were gobbling. I'm hoping I won't be too late. I'd appreciate any reports.

I will be headed up to that country myself on Friday.  I am not so much worried about whether the turkeys will be gobbling as I am what is the weather going to do

we are headed back right now. the weather sucked. not much gobbling the weather sucked wind cold and cloudy. seems like it was a mix of things happening/ some hens off nesting other still with gobblers all day and jakes running in groups everywhere.  we hunted just south of chadron.

That sucks hootn.  I was hoping to hear a great report from you. Hopefully the weather is better over Memorial Day weekend.  I'll try to let my kids and myself take some revenge for you.............and jakes are fair game to the kids.
