New Browning A5 3.5 with patternmaster code black turkey .675 and hevi 13 #5s. what kind of numbers are you other guys getting?
also tested hevi shot choke with mag blend.

I patterned my A-5 and got 139 in a 10" circle at 40 yards. I used a patternmaster and #6 longbeards. 3" shells. I have a 26" barrel. I shot patternmaster (.675), trulock (.665), Jebs (.655) and a pure gold (.670). I used #5 and #6 longbeards and also magblends 5,6,7. The best was the pattermaster. I'll be honest with you, I don't know how some of these guys are getting 200+ at 40 yards.
i patterned mag blend with the patternmaster as well. Averaged 170 in 10" @ 40 yards. I am not getting the numbers i did with my browning maxus. im thinking my choke constriction is a little too open for the mag blend or 6s. it shoots 5s the best percentage wise.
I have the new model A5 and tried many choke/shell combinations and the best by far is a Jebs headhunter .655 choke with Winchester long beard 3 1/2 number 6 shot-303 pellets in 10 inch circle at 40 yards,And second place was the number 5 shot with 214 pellets same brand shells and choke.wish I could post pictures.good luck

really nice patterns.! Did you shoot those combo's at 20 yards? It seems like it would be like shooting a slug at 20 yards. i always wanted to try those jebs chokes though!

I shot the first shot at 20 and it was mostly a hole with a few shots around it
