I got lucky and tagged out the first day. Not realizing how bad the withdrawals would be. So I decided to start guiding friends. The morning started out spectacular, gobbling hard to the locator call. All the way till about 10:30 he would come in and gobble like a mad man at 80 yards, and hang up in the swamp. I'd go quiet and hit him with the call 20 minutes later and he'd be 150 yards away. He would eventually come back and hang up in the same cypress swamp.
This happend for a grand total of 3 hours. Until I went silent completely. Then he came in silent and let out one cluck which alerted my friend of the presence. He slowly raised his gun and dropped him graveyard dead.
Man sound's like I need to hire you. My season in S FL has been dismal so far. Congrats
