Season doesn't start till April 17th hear
In my dreams!
Started my scouting and found some birds. Now I just need to nail them down before April 19!
My season came in the 15th. Today was the 2nd day I was able to go but haven't heard a gobble either time.
Got to wait till the 17th here. Went out this morning and located 3 toms. They were the only birds I heard this morning.
I heard 7 this morning and saw 14 yesterday
I shot one this morning about 5 minutes after his feet hit the ground. Not a stud by any means but this ain't catch and release!

Been hunting since the 15th here also. I've been on a few birds but didn't connect till yesterday. My season starts April 8th, I have a flock located but will be scouting a new area next week.

I head out tomorrow to check the birds and start teaching the father and son that took me up on my offer, getting them birds first and if some reason they don't connect I offered to take em out again. I hunt Monday Tuesday.
