Title: BPS 3 1/2 inch and Winchester Longbeard #6s
Post by: hunter22 on April 13, 2014, 08:03:30 PM
Here is the pattern from my BPS with an Indian Creek .665 choke and Winchester Longbeard #6s at 40 yards. Best I could count around 260 hits on the paper.

I patterned my BPS [28" barrel] this past Saturday with the IC .665" and the Win LB's 3.5" #6's also and the best I could get was 193 pellets in a 10" circle.

I was pretty happy with that also.

My gun has a 28 inch barrel also. I was very, very, pleased with the performance. This is my back-up gun. My main turkey killer is a left-handed Benelli SBE shooting Nitro 4X5X7s. It has killed a bunch.

I have not started hunting yet. Our season opens here in Arkansas this Saturday and I plan to hunt pretty much for three weeks in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. I have cut back a couple states this year.
