Don’t hear as much on here about his calls anymore. I recently got a glass call that sounds phenomenal. What’s everyone’s favorite from Pat if you have one or more?

I have a Jekyll-N-Hyde Double sided Alum and Slate that has helped quite a few gobblers get to the promised land.

Just my opinion but there are plenty of other callmakers who are at or above his level who don’t require a**kissing to get a call from. Just saying.

He's been making mostly slates lately. His colored slates are phenomenal.

But the truth, he is hard to get a call from, i say for some of us..

I’ve never had a problem. But maybe I caught him at the right time too though. But I’ve only got a couple from him too though. Where as I’ve got 42 lonzo pot calls and bought about all them through him.. I’ve definitely never had a problem with Lon.. Best call maker I’ve ever dealt with. Could talk on the phone for hours at a time.

I too had a very poor response in trying to get a call from him - glad I sought elsewhere ( buster halford) I hit the jackpot!!! My advice - look elsewhere!

I have also had a poor response from him and agree with Wigsplitter…Buster Halford is awesome to deal with. I can imagine Pat’s calls are top notch, but are they worth waiting 2 years for or are they worth not getting a response?? I am sure there are many others like Buster out there, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I will throw an idea by Buster and he will give his input and will turn out a call that sounds as good as any out there. Another benefit is he and Jeff Harrison (JLH Strikers) are very good friends. Jeff can make excellent recommendations with his strikers to make one call sound like 2-3 different calls by changing the striker.

What is the blue deuce? I know it's a double sider with a crystal or glass surface, but that's it.

Coincidence or not, Pat Strawzer put a new Blue Deuce on Facebook last week and he plans on putting 2-3 more up for sale in the coming months. I’ve messaged him a few times and he’s gotten back to me but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet and might not. I don’t have as many pot calls as many of you do but the few I have are pretty darned good IMO.
