Title: Anyone had the Stevens 301 .410 trigger worked on?
Post by: Meleagris gallopavo on June 24, 2021, 08:38:33 AM
Hi folks.  Who did your trigger work on the Stevens 301 .410 turkey or did you do it yourself?  Gunsmiths are few and far between around these parts.

I just sat watching tv and with a fired 410 shell, sat and worked the action and trigger until it smoothed up.

First I did my grandsons since he could not even cock it by himself. Then I did mine. Must a worked since he shot last years gobbler at 50 yards with the factory choke and federal TSS #9 shot. I did mount a red dot sight on it for him.
